Gary has been a financial advisor for more than 22 years and is securities registered in the states of CO, IL, FL, KS, TN, VT and WI. Gary works primarily with pre-retirees and retirees to custom design strategies for suitable income needs in the short term and the long term. Key concerns that affect planning include potential tax liabilities, inflation assumptions, appropriate risk controls, diversified investment portfolio design and potential for growth over the long term.
Gary graduated from Letourneau University, Longview, Texas, with a Bachelor’s degree in Bible and Aviation Technology. He worked as a business analyst at Woodward Governor. In 1996, he received a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Rockford University. After that he started a retirement planning and investment advising practice in Rockford, Illinois. Gary has passed his exams for securities licenses 7, 63 and 65 (currently held with LPL Financial) along with the exams for life and health insurance.
Gary is active in community and church volunteer projects. He is an adjunct faculty at Judson University, Elgin, Illinois. He teaches managerial accounting, corporate finance and principles of management and leadership. Gary is married for more than 36 years to his wife, Carol.
They have three grown children.
